Buckeye Port Reading Terminal LLC, a subsidiary of Buckeye Partners, L.P., has safely resumed operations at its Port Reading, NJ terminal following last week’s accidental fuel spill.
Working with local public safety officials as well as state and federal authorities, Buckeye resumed full service of marine, truck and tank operations at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13. Starting with the restoration of partial operations Sunday evening, the Buckeye Port Reading Terminal is fully serving the fuel needs of the New York Harbor market.
The Sept. 6 spill has been contained and remediation efforts in the Arthur Kill River continue.
Buckeye’s primary concern remains protecting the health and safety of the public, the environment and our employees.
Buckeye Port Reading Terminal LLC’s operating headquarters is based in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania, with corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas.
